Anjali-Arya lip to lip for Settai

Looks like director Kannan wants to recreate the magic of Delhi Belly in Tamil as well. We hear that he has insisted that Anjali and Arya shoot for a lip-lock scene in its Tamil remake, Settai, just like Imran Khan and Poorna Jagannathan did in the Hindi original.

The two actors shot the sequence in Mumbai, and we hear the unit had to spend a lot of time convincing Anjali for the lip-lock. 

Kannan says, “Anjali was a little worried about doing the scene, and told me that she was pretty uncomfortable. It took us a while to get her to warm up to the idea. I explained to her that the scene was integral to the story, and asked her to imagine herself as a modern and a brave journalist, based out of Mumbai. After a lot of cajoling, she agreed. We shot the sequence inside a car in Horniman circle near Central Library in Mumbai on Sunday. Santhanam and Premgi were also present at the time.”

We hear that there is another lip-lock scene in the film that will feature in the climax.
