Director A.R.Murugadoss has revealed a few interesting tidbits about the plot of Thuppakki, which is slated to release on November 9. The film is not based on the 26/11 attacks that rocked Mumbai, as many have speculated. This film has been envisioned by Murugadoss to warn people that we have to be alert always to the possibility of attacks.
The movie would be a modern entertainer with a serious story. He chose Vijay for this movie as he is a superstar with a huge fan following but also with a common man's demeanor. Lot of research has gone into the making of the film and not even a single shot of the movie has been canned in Chennai. The entire movie is set in Mumbai including the junior artistes.
The director assures an entertainer and particularly opines that the climax and interval block would be thrilling. All eyes are on November 9, now!
