Venkat Prabhu has finally decided on his Biriyani heroine. He had earlier said that he is scouting for a Tamil girl to pair opposite Karthi in this film. But, the chosen one is not a Tamil girl and it is none other than Hansika Motwani. Earlier, Richa Gangopadhyay and later Anushka were rumoured to be the 'Biriyani' heroines, but the young Hansika has pipped her rivals to the post.
Biriyani joins a long list of films that Hansika is currently working in like Vaalu, Vettai Mannan, Singam 2 and her other new film to be directed by Sundar C. The Karthi - Hansika pairing is bound to be fresh and interesting.
The diet is all set to begin.
