Well, here’s a surprise in 2012 with the young and aspiring filmmakers coming up with spellbinding scripts based on this genre. Vijay Anthony’s ‘Naan’ was one such illustration that distinctly proved that it’s not ‘Big Budget’, ‘A-League Superstars’ that marks the success of a film, but ‘Story’ and ‘Screenplay’ that form intriguing part of a good film.
Not to miss the recent release ‘Pizza’ directed by Karthik starring Vijay Sethupathy in lead role. The film completely comprises of newcomers except actress Remya Nambeesan. Guess what? The film is running house-packed and is even beating the big ticket ‘Maattrraan’ in box office.
What awaits next is a new mix of comedy ‘n’ thriller and that arrives from the same actor Vijay Sethupathy titled ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’.
With lots of ground breaking films making its way on the screens, we are sure the producers will come out of their box of thinking that it’s not big stars and technicians, but the right script and presentation that spins them profit in box office.
