Hari's stock shot up significantly with the phenomenal success of 'Singham.' It also made Suriya a bigger star overnight and the film was a resounding success. Now, Hari has begun the sequel 'Singam 2' and is hopeful that he can replicate the success of the original. Also, in the effort to ensure that he gets things right, he has also retained a huge chunk of the star-cast from the original.
Apart from Suriya, there will be two leading ladies - Anushka and Hansika. Also on board are Vivek, Manorama and Nasser while Santhanam has been roped in.
The buzz is that shooting for 'Singham2' is on in Chennai now following a week-long schedule in Tirunelveli. Sources have it that the team is set to leave for South Africa by the end of the week where they will shoot in places like Durban.
