Good news emerging from Thangar Bachchan is that his film Ammavin Kaipesi will enjoy tax exemption as it has been cleared by the censor board with a clean ‘U’ certificate.
While there is still some confusion in the air about the possible releases for Deepavali this year, Ammavin Kaipesi will certainly hit screens during the festival of lights. The other films that will come up in the box office are Vijay’s Thuppakki and Simbu’s Podaa Podi.
Another film that was expected for release for the festival was National Award winning director Seenu Ramasamy’s Neerparavai. But the producers of the film, Red Giant Movies, have communicated that the official release date will be on November 23rd. The reason for selecting this date seems to be to avoid a clash with the big commercial releases coming out this Deepavali.
